Well, I'm workin' on a Deidara piece but now that I'm almost done with it, I realize I made one of the arms too big and I'm just unmotivated to fix and finish it :/ Which is kinda how I'm feeling about this semester of school.

Y'know that arts retrospective project I mentioned? Well it's morphed into a limerick/haiku reading on anti-war sentiments found in 60s artworks told by homemade puppets. o_O Don't worry, I don't know either. But I'm positive that this doesn't bode well for me (and my grade).

I've recently learned that to get into a graduate program in art history I must be able to, upon entry, prove that I have reading proficiency in a foreign language. So I've ordered Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in German to see just how far behind I am. But! For a graduate program in museum studies I don't need this ability! And NYU has a pretty bomb-diggity sounding program in museum studies...

I relearned an important lesson these past couple of days= avoid the use of stamps at all costs. Oh, the amount of paper I've had to buy this week.

Tomorrow I'm setting up my exhibit in the gallery on campus called Back In Session: Impressions of a New School Year. My gumdrop dude will indeed be featured in it. *crosses fingers that this shindig is a success* This exhibit is actually part of a class I'm currently in and I'm starting to wonder when all my classes decided to require that I be creative to pass them.

*Shrugs*

Although...I guess I was somewhat creative last night around eleven. Wrote a oneshot. And actually posted it. But I think we all saw that coming, just a matter of time, no?
